Amina Khan, Mortgage Loan Officer

Meet Amina

More than a decade in lending. A slightly different way of looking at files.

I’ve seen mortgages at scale, and I’ve learned to slow down when an individual file requires it.

What happens if you write in

A conversation. Then a way forward.

No documents to find. No credit pull to start. Just enough for me to understand what you’re trying to do.

  1. Send the outline.

Enough for me to know what I’m looking at. No documents.

  2. I give you a straight read.

What fits, what it would ask of you, and where it gets hard.

  3. You decide.

Nothing formal starts unless you want it to.

If nothing fits yet, you’ll hear that too, along with what would change it.

Before you write in

What people ask me first

If yours isn’t here, ask it. I’d rather answer it now than have you sit on it.

Do I have to apply immediately?

No.

It’s an introduction, not a loan application. An application asks for the things the form deliberately leaves out — no Social Security number, no date of birth, no income figures, no account numbers, no property address.

It stops short on purpose. A filed application starts clocks and obligations for both of us, and neither of us should start those before we’ve talked.

Are you pulling my credit just because I asked a question?

No.

Nothing on this site touches your credit — not the form, not a call, not the read I give you afterward.

A credit check belongs to a real application, later, if you decide to go that way. It doesn’t happen quietly, and it doesn’t happen without you saying yes to it first.

Do I have to start hunting down documents before we even talk?

No.

To start, I need your name, email address, and phone number, plus your permission for me to contact you about your inquiry.

What you’re trying to do, how you earn, and any other context are optional. A previous no, a timeline, or a question you want explained is enough. No documents, tax returns, bank statements, or financial figures are needed to start.

Am I committing to something by contacting you?

No.

Nothing formal starts unless you want it to.

I’ve already been declined. Are you promising me a yes?

No.

I’m not going to tell you a no turns into a yes because you emailed me. Nobody honest says that before reading the file.

What I can tell you is that a decline is often a mismatch between how you earn and how one lender reads income. That’s worth a second look. Nothing formal starts unless you want it to.

Sometimes the second look says no as well. You’ll hear that from me plainly, along with what would have to change.

What if there’s nothing you can do?

You’ll tell me.

Sometimes the answer is no. Sometimes it’s not yet.

What happens next?

You explain it. I decide.

I read what you send and reply, usually inside 48 to 72 hours. Often sooner, but that’s the window I’ll hold myself to rather than a number I’d have to walk back.

If it’s time-sensitive — a contract date, an offer you’re about to make — call instead of writing.

What happens to what I send you?

It comes to me by email.

Your inquiry is sent by email to my inbox. The website does not store your submission.

This is an introduction, not a loan application. No credit is pulled.

Anything I haven’t answered here, ask me directly — (704) 737-4567. Or write it down and I’ll answer it in writing.

This site is new. That one isn’t.

It isn’t a secure channel, so keep documents and account numbers off it.

Tell me the outline.

Tell me what you’re trying to do, and where you’re getting stuck.

No documents. No credit pull. This is an introduction, not a loan application.

This is the field that usually decides which door is open. Optional.

Keep this to the situation. Please don’t include Social Security numbers, account numbers, or financial documents.

This form is not a loan application and does not result in a credit pull. Not a commitment to lend.

Rather say it out loud? (704) 737-4567 — that’s Amina.

I usually reply within 48 to 72 hours.
